Base Kill WP rewards on the total Meta of the Fitting you destroyed.
Maybe something like total meta multiplied by 3

N1ck Comeau wrote:you could easily get way over 100 points if someone ran all proto.
But all standard gear kill would probably award less than 50,
I don't see a problem with that, It's kind of the point actually. If you want to risk running Full Proto Squads against noobs in MLT Gear, you will be rewarded accordingly.

Justice Prevails wrote:Like the idea, but as RKKR stated, a logi genuinely wanting to help his team would be screwed. If you exclude equipment, base it on weapons, and modules and suits, it might work. Might be too complicated to implement though. I see where he's coming from, but honestly, like I said, I target healers first when I encounter them. Another point is that the reward would also reflect the contribution to the team you made by taking out the enemy support. Logistic Players make quite a lot of WP and ISK by supporting their team, so the elimination of such a valuable asset to the enemy should be rewarded in kind.

Logistics players also invest lot's of ISK in their fits' so we already bring more Value to the ISK payout if you may believe the system CCP explains to us. I don't feel like this game rewards support roles as it should. Sure it gives us LTS of WP but it's not vers exciting or effective lately, making them even more of a target is thus ridicilous. The meta-game is also unbalanced as hell, redesign YES, more stuff based on bad design NO! The thing is, if you are really playing as a Support Logi, you will be running Higher Meta Equipment, but lower Meta Defensive modules and especially weapons.
If you are playing an assault Role, you will be running the Best Offense and Defense Possible, while your equipment takes the backseat.

RKKR wrote:Guess what, most logis picked gallente Logi from the start so they could run higher defense meta modules and proto equipment. Thats fine, but you are probably using a lower Meta weapon and grenade, where an Assault is using 2 Prototype weapons and most likely at least adv or better grenades, plus Complex defensive modules in their preferred tank.
The meta levels between the two would most likely be relatively close.

RKKR wrote:Maybe.
Do I get more rewards for repping higher meta gear or using higher meta gear?
Using a MLT AR is more effective than using a MLT nanohive compared to their their higher META-gear.
Point is META game is unbalanced, **** and ruining the game. A redesign could make all roles more fun and rewarding,
Perhaps a better way would be to Divide the total Meta of a Suit or Vehicle by the Number of slots, then multiply the quotient by the WP Multiplier, finally, round to the nearest whole number to get the WP reward for eliminating said target.

No. I'm not against Protostomp and not with it neither (i don't play proto in Pub or FW i run usually advanced (Exept my equipements which are protos). I mean what the point about making a good fit during years to finally use a nooby suit with equipement that sucks (i'm a logi so i ALWAYS got a high meta level.) "Personal satisfaction about taking out proto" Oh come on since hit detection you see the proto first it dies like an Militia XD I've played since 2 months only in advanced and protos dies in less than 0.001sec you see you shoot it dies. I never fought it was hard to kill them. Just requires some...basic tactics that i already use against everything....(even some Dragonfly suits...)
I mean what the point about unlocking protosuits ? What the point about PLAYING if when you unlock modules and equipements you can't use it without winning NOTHING when you plays with it ?
It will kill the game progression. Old players will see no point about playing anymore. (Yeaaaah we are sooooo nice than when we have 20 million sp and years to unlock these suits WE ARE GONNA USE MILITIA. Because we love dying faster and makes no damage.) Wake up dude just..NO.
Make some special Mode where you can't use bigger than STD or ADV (With lower payouts) well okay why not. Everybody can choice. It will create diversity then ok that's cool.
Or increase the fact than when the ennemy team have a high Meta level the Isk payout is Bigger. Well that should be increase because now the ISk payout don't really change..... But make it that for everybody that's...kinda bad.
ISK changements because of meta level the ennemy use well..YES. New game mode for STD / ADV well that would be nice.
But changing WP well..no.
I would answer you logically, but you contradict yourself so much, your post just tells me that you only desire to have good rewards for little effort.
First you say Protos die just as easy as MLT (LOL), but then you turn around and say vets will leave because "we love dying faster and makes no damage." (by using lower tier gear)
So which is it? Protos are just as easy as MLT, or do Protos have a clear advantage over MLT? I think we all know the answer!
Nobody said you wouldn't be able to use prototype gear anyway. You could still use proto, you could still protostomp noobs, it just wouldn't be as profitable or rewarding as it is now.
It seems to me you just want to protostomp, encounter little to no resistance, and get paid the same or better rewards as lower level players who struggle in every single match they play.

It makes sense to me to have greater rewards for more difficult kills and lesser rewards fro easier kills.
